Your information is collected only where necessary to prepare and administer agreements, organise and distribute releases, verify rights and credits, communicate with you, process accounting and fulfil legal obligations.
Processing is primarily based on the preparation and performance of an agreement, compliance with legal obligations and CRYSTAL CULT's legitimate interest in documenting release rights and permissions.
Where necessary, relevant information may be shared with distributors, digital music platforms, payment providers, accountants, legal advisers and service providers involved in the release.
The portal runs on services provided by Supabase Inc., for database, sign-in and file storage (data held in the EU, Frankfurt; company based in the USA), and Scaleway SAS, for sending portal email such as invitations and password resets (company and data centres based in France), and Render Services, Inc., for running the portal itself (data held in the EU, Frankfurt; company based in the USA), and Cloudflare, Inc., for checking that sign-in requests come from a person and not a bot (company based in the USA). These companies process your data only on CRYSTAL CULT's instructions, under a data processing agreement, and never for their own purposes.
Your information is stored only for as long as required for the contractual relationship, release administration, legal retention obligations or the defence of legal claims. Where a signed agreement exists, the agreement itself and the details it records are retained for those legal periods even if you ask for deletion — the rest of your personal data is removed.
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, or a copy of it in a portable format, by contacting crystalcult.cc@gmail.com. Requests are answered within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Required fields are necessary to process the artist relationship or release. Without this information, CRYSTAL CULT may be unable to proceed.
